About
I'm 26 and based in Munich. I taught myself to program at 15 and have been building software ever since, both professionally and for fun. Working in medtech made me increasingly curious about the biology behind the applications I was building. That curiosity led me to bioinformatics. I want to develop models that help us understand biological systems and predict how they respond to change, and test those predictions against experimental data.
Beyond research
I joined START Munich, a student entrepreneurship program, in December 2021 and served on its board as MD Finance & Operations from August 2023 to 2024.
Through START Munich, I co-founded and organized START goes Bay Area, connecting European students with researchers, founders and investors in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2025 and 2026, we brought 20 students on two-week trips to exchange ideas and explore research and entrepreneurship. Each trip included visits to 20+ companies and organizations, including Google X, Y Combinator, PsiQuantum, NVIDIA, Etched, Benchling, and Coherence.
Hobbies
Away from the screen, I make beats on my SP-404, listen to records, and cook. I enjoy making coffee with my V60 or moka pot.
